Steve Hart
Steve is an experienced engineer and leader with a strong sustainability focus and a proven history of improving environmental and business performance across the energy and mining sectors. Steve is dedicated to guiding industry toward practical, win-win environmental and business solutions. Steve grew up windsurfing and exploring the reefs and beaches around Garden Island, which is where his love for the ocean and connection to the environment grew.
Principal Scientist

Dr. Claire Charlton
Dr Claire Charlton is a Director of Current Environmental and a Principal Environmental Scientist with 20 years’ experience across government, university and resource sectors. With a PhD in marine mammal science, she is recognised internationally for her expertise in marine fauna and impact assessment. Claire has worked on little penguins and Australian Sea Lions in SA and WA. She leads multidisciplinary programs, delivering evidence-based solutions that meet regulatory and client needs. Claire brings technical expertise, strategic thinking and strong leadership to the team, mentoring others and championing best practice.
Managing Director

Emily Evans
Emily is a dedicated marine scientist and MFO with over 10 years of field expertise, research and environmental impact assessment experience on sensitive marine fauna in WA, and a passion for wildlife photography and conservation. As Managing Director, she leads with mentorship and inclusive team culture, and a commitment to delivering the highest standards in environmental stewardship. With expertise in underwater noise, marine fauna and project management, Emily supports the team and our clients with the complete package.
Project Manager

Brodee Lowe
​Brodee is a senior marine scientist and subject matter expert in marine fauna, specialising in underwater acoustics and cetacean ecology. She is an MFO Training Instructor and Senior MFO, with a strong commitment to respectfully incorporating Traditional Owner knowledge into industry practice. Passionate about mentorship, Brodee fosters supportive, healthy team environments that drive positive outcomes for both people and the marine environments they work to protect. Her approachable leadership style, clear communication, and positivity contribute to strong team morale and successful project delivery.
Senior MFO and Environment Advisor

Ticiana Fetternman
Ticiana is a marine fauna ecologist with a Master’s in Marine Biology and 20 years of experience in marine research, conservation and environmental advisory work. She has led boat-based, shore-based and drone survey programs and worked as an MFO across the Pilbara and WA. Her expertise spans all marine fauna receptor groups and she has contributed to major projects in Australia and Internationally. Tici lives locally in WA. She is mature,, easy going, great to work with and very experienced, making her the ideal Senior MFO for this job.
